Mermaid Arts & Treasures
Haitian art is a haven for portraying facets of history, heritage, and culture of our people. The artist's voice is rich in expression, and presents a necessity to expose the lifestyles and politics of our native culture. As a people, we truly benefit from the artistic influence so generously given to us by our artists because it allows us to define ourselves to the truest sense of our being. Haitian art gives its people a sense of belonging... At Mermaid Arts & Treasures, we would like to extend this sense of belonging to the public. Our mission is to foster an environment where we as a people can be exposed to, and gain access to Haitian art. We believe it is imperative to offer a venue where our culture and our history can come face to face to its public, and we want to offer you the opportunity to take a piece of Haitian heritage home with you.
